OCs Corona MTC Meeting

Success for the Corona MTC!

The recently revitalized Corona Manufacturing Technology Council’s [MTC] August  luncheon meeting was a huge success.  cpSphere’s CFO, Hamida Amiri, gave a presentation on the Balanced Scorecard performance management system to key executives from local manufacturing companies.

cpSphere’s FACTS Software is based on the methodology used in the Balanced Scorecard, a management system developed at Harvard in the mid-nineties, and now used by leading companies around the world.

The Corona Chamber of Commerce MTC is headed by cpSphere‘s VP of Operations, Jack Mobilia, and is  a best practices sharing forum for manufacturers in the area, to assist them in achieving operational improvements and continuing growth.

Annual Business Expo 2008

A big success!  We’ve done a lot of work in Commerce over the past couple years with the Commerce Industrial Council Chamber of Commerce, and the Annual Expo, held this year at Commerce’s Doubletree Hotel, was an opportunity to see all of our friends—and needless to say, make a few new ones at our booth, in a very prime location.  It turns out there are a few Commerce area businesses we haven’t met yet, and as a result of the Expo, it looks like we’ll be working with several of them.

YOU CAN’T IMPROVE WHAT YOU DON’T MEASURE!

Using a Performance Management System to Improve Organizational Performance and Profitability

I think I am doing everything right but my business still isn’t successful… I wonder why????

Performance management is the answer.   It improves organizational performance by:

• Creating an environment for change
• Focusing on clearly defined actionable objectives
• Communicating the company’s vision, goals, and strategies to the whole organization
• Establishing ownership and accountability for specific goals
• Measuring performance and tracking progress toward company goals
• Identifying problems before they grow, and taking corrective action

As a result of improved performance, resource utilization is optimized, cost is reduced, quality improves, and most importantly: the bottom line improves,  as the survey below reveals:
